Delivery, Returns & Cancellation Policy – Beds Emporium Ltd

At Beds Emporium Ltd, we are committed to providing a reliable delivery service and ensuring your rights are fully protected under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

 


 

1. Delivery Information

Free UK Delivery
We offer free standard delivery to most UK mainland postcodes. Additional charges may apply to certain remote areas (see below).

Delivery Process
Once your order is ready for dispatch (usually within 24–48 hours), you will receive an email or SMS with a link to select your preferred delivery date.

If a delivery date is not selected, this may delay your order. Our team will attempt to contact you within 24–48 hours to arrange delivery.

You must provide a valid mobile number and email address when placing your order to ensure smooth delivery.

Delivery Timeframes

  • In-stock items: typically dispatched within a few days

  • Out-of-stock items: up to 21 working days (rare cases)

  • Divan beds and certain mattresses: 7–14 working days (occasionally)

Unless otherwise agreed, all orders will be delivered within 30 days in line with UK consumer law.

Delivery Method

  • Deliveries are made to the main entrance of your property

  • In some cases, drivers may assist further at their discretion, but this is not guaranteed

  • Risk of loss or damage remains with Beds Emporium Ltd until the goods are delivered to you

All items are delivered fully insured. If goods arrive damaged, we will arrange a repair, replacement, or refund where appropriate.

Remote Areas
Deliveries to certain postcodes (including PA, KA, DG, FK, KY, PH, DD, AB, IV, TD, TR, KW, BT) may:

  • Take 7–14 working days

  • Be subject to an additional delivery charge

Please contact us before ordering if you are unsure.

Offshore Locations
We currently do not deliver to offshore islands.

 


 

2. Your Right to Cancel (Cooling-Off Period)

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, for any reason.

You then have a further 14 days to return the goods once you have notified us of cancellation.

To cancel your order, please contact us by email or phone with your order details.

 


 

3. Returns

Return Conditions
You must take reasonable care of the goods while they are in your possession. Items should be returned:

  • In a resalable condition

  • With original packaging where possible

You may inspect the goods as you would in a shop. However, we may make a reasonable deduction from your refund if the value of the goods has been reduced due to excessive handling.

Return Costs

  • We can arrange a collection for £49, which will be deducted from your refund

  • Alternatively, you may return the item yourself at your own cost

This charge is clearly disclosed in line with UK regulations.

 


 

4. Refunds

Once returned goods are received and inspected:

  • Refunds are processed within 2–4 working days

  • Please allow up to 10 working days for funds to appear in your account

Delivery charges (if applicable) will be refunded in accordance with legal requirements.

 


 

5. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you are entitled to goods that are as described, fit for purpose, and of satisfactory quality.

If your item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect:

  • Please notify us as soon as reasonably possible

  • We may request photos to assess the issue

  • We will offer a repair, replacement, or full refund, depending on the situation

You have a 30-day right to reject faulty goods for a full refund.

After 30 days, we will offer a repair or replacement in line with your statutory rights.

 


 

6. Exchanges

If you wish to exchange an item (for reasons other than fault):

  • An exchange fee of up to £49 may apply to cover collection and redelivery

 


 

7. Assembly & Product Condition

Most items are supplied flat-packed for home assembly.

You may assemble and inspect items as you would in a physical store. However:

  • Items that are damaged or altered during assembly due to misuse may not be eligible for a full refund

  • This does not affect your statutory rights if the item is faulty

 


 

8. Additional Information

  • Delivery times may vary during busy periods and public holidays

  • All delivery charges (where applicable) are clearly displayed before purchase

  • We do not share your personal information with third parties, in line with UK data protection laws
